Mathematics:
Real World Algebra
This fascinating course begins by explaining how to turn words into the language of algebra.
The students easily step into solving problems with equations. Soon they will not only be translating complex problems into algebra and solving them, but they will appreciate using algebra in everyday life. Our students will learn a variety of significantly important algebra skills including: the language of algebra, using algebra to solve real-world problems, proportion, exponents, radicals, simultaneous equations, and much more.
This class will definitely prepares your child for the advanced algebra program in the middle school.
Astro Science:
The Great Space Race
It is a race to space and our mission involves an exciting journey to the moon, establishing a base, and then launching additional missions to Mars and other celestial bodies such as a comet. We will study astrophysics, astrobiology, and astronomy in this inspiring unit. Using the laws of physics, we will test payloads to see how we can maximize thrust while carrying the largest payload possible.
Lastly, we will investigate an ancient life form recovered from the moon. Can we discover the nature of this creature? What mysterious creature was this? Did it originate from the moon or did it come from somewhere else? Maybe there are aliens after all!
